Biography: 

Colleen McCue is a visiting senior research scholar at UMIACS.

Her research focuses on the application of data mining and predictive analytic tools in crime analysis, supporting information based tactics, strategy, response and policy.

She is the senior director in social science and quantitative methods at DigitalGlobe Analytics, a leader in the remote sensing and geospatial industries that provides high-resolution satellite images, aerial images and geospatial content.

McCue received her doctorate in psychology from Dartmouth College in 1989. She completed a five-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.
